Cloud Architect - Transforming Healthcare with Data

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join HUS and help shape the future of healthcare. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cloud solutions that enhance healthcare delivery. This Cloud Architect remote position allows you to work flexibly while contributing to meaningful projects that improve people's quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop cloud architecture solutions, primarily using Azure, to support HUS's data-driven initiatives.
• Coordinate and enhance the cloud architecture across various teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Support the implementation of cloud services and solutions, ensuring compliance with security and privacy regulations.
• Promote DevOps and automation practices within the organization.
• Evaluate technical solutions and implement best practices in cloud technology.
• Collaborate with product development teams, technology providers, and stakeholders to drive cloud technology utilization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong understanding of at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure.
• Deep knowledge of container technologies, microservices architecture, and DevOps models.
• Experience in managing security and cost control in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills in both Finnish and English.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare sector and familiarity with industry terminology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data architecture and cloud technologies.
• Programming skills in Python, Scala, SQL, Spark, or Pyspark.
