Chief Revenue Officer - Remote Position at Longbeard
About the Role
We are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to join Longbeard in a fully remote capacity. As the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for owning all revenue generation processes across the company. This role is pivotal as you will define and execute our global Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, driving both B2C subscription volume and high-value B2B enterprise deals. Your leadership will be crucial in capturing our estimated $50 million Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) over the next three years.
What You'll Do
- Scale Magisterium AI (B2C & B2B): Optimize our B2C funnel to convert our massive organic user base into paying Pro subscribers while leading outbound B2B sales to license our API to Catholic organizations.
- Drive Vulgate Enterprise Sales: Map and close complex B2B deals with universities, dioceses, and media organizations, selling a mix of platform subscriptions, AI ingestion services, and API access.
- Spearhead Secular Market Expansion: Strategize and execute Vulgate's expansion into the secular library, archive, and academic markets.
- Build the Revenue Engine: Deploy our first-ever paid marketing and sales budgets to create scalable, repeatable inbound and outbound pipelines.
- Prepare for Future Monetization: Lay the groundwork for upcoming revenue streams, including third-party advertising and referral models.
Requirements
- Proven Revenue Leadership: 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or revenue leadership, with a track record of scaling SaaS or AI products from early-stage to $10M+ ARR.
- Dual B2B/B2C Expertise: Demonstrated success in running product-led growth (PLG) strategies for B2C subscriptions alongside high-touch, long-cycle B2B enterprise sales.
- AI Technical Fluency: Ability to confidently sell highly technical products (APIs, vector databases, LLMs/SLMs, RAG) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Market Nuance: Deep understanding of the Catholic market's structure, pacing, and institutional pain points, with a strategic vision to bridge our technology into secular markets.
- Builder Mentality: Thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment and excited to professionalize a C-suite and build a sales organization from the ground up.
