About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chief Officer to join our Methanol Fueled Container vessel. This Chief Officer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated crew while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with maritime regulations and enhancing the operational performance of the ship.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all deck operations and ensure the safety of the crew and vessel.
• Manage the crew and maintain high standards of safety and performance.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain navigational charts and publications.
• Conduct regular safety drills and training for the crew.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the Chief Officer rank on container vessels.
• IGF certificate required prior to joining.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Stable sea service history with positive references from previous employers.
• Experience in managing diverse crew mixes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with methanol-fueled vessels.
• Additional maritime certifications.
• Leadership training or experience in a supervisory role.
