Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Remote AI & Digital Services

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead MessApps, a pioneering company in AI and digital services. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mobile and web app design and development, as well as AI automation. As the CEO, you will be instrumental in executing the Board’s vision, scaling predictable recurring revenue, and ensuring operational excellence. This role is perfect for a hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to drive significant growth.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow the full P&L, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
• Deliver and scale subscription-based offerings, focusing on Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
• Lead, manage, and expand all departments, including sales, marketing, delivery, development, design, and AI.
• Oversee team performance and operational efficiency while optimizing ROI.
• Build and optimize KPI-driven systems to enhance operational clarity and performance.
• Improve revenue, gross margins, retention, and Lifetime Value (LTV) while reducing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
• Scale the AI Agents & Automation division into a core recurring revenue engine.
• Produce reporting and updates for the Board and investors, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements

• 7–15+ years of experience in digital agencies, AI services, or software product companies.
• Proven ability to scale a business toward $10M–$30M+ in revenue.
• Deep understanding of MRR, ARR, and subscription economics.
• Strong P&L ownership, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents and workflow automation.
• Excellent leadership in sales, marketing, and operations.
• Exceptional communication skills with investors, clients, and teams.
• Highly organized, disciplined, and execution-oriented.

Nice to Have

• Experience as CEO, COO, GM, President, or VP in relevant fields.
• Background in building recurring revenue models and leading enterprise AI automation.
• Experience producing investor-grade financial and performance reporting.
• Familiarity with integrating M&A or acquired service-based businesses.
