General Manager - Premium Ride-Hailing Service

About the Role

We are seeking a General Manager to lead our premium ride-hailing service in France. This General Manager remote position offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth in Paris and expand into the South of France and Monaco. You will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that we deliver a five-star experience to our customers while managing a team of dedicated professionals.

What You'll Do

• Oversee P&L responsibility for the French market, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
• Manage the offline product, including pricing, availability, and fleet composition.
• Lead four local teams: Driver Operations, Quality & Training, Sales, and Marketing.
• Develop and execute an expansion strategy for the South of France and Monaco.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities for partnerships and growth.
• Collaborate with the central Product team to enhance the passenger and chauffeur experience.
• Navigate the regulatory landscape, ensuring compliance with France's VTC licensing requirements.
• Represent Wheely externally, engaging with press, partners, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Economics from a leading university.
• Minimum 7–10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or high-growth tech.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional fluency in French and English.
• Based in Paris.
