Chemical Laboratory Technician - Remote Opportunity

Excelitas Technologies is excited to announce a remote opportunity for a Chemical Laboratory Technician. In this role, you will enable your future through light by contributing to cutting-edge photonic innovations. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will conduct analytical tests and measurements that are crucial for the development and production of photonics solutions.

What You'll Do

• Conduct analytical tests and measurements (e.g., titration, photometry, tensiometry, air quality measurements).
• Monitor and control technical parameters of cleaning systems.
• Maintain and manage data related to hazardous substances and material compliance using tools like Excel and SAP.
• Prepare risk assessments and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for hazardous substances.
• Organize and coordinate waste management processes, including waste balance documentation.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or a comparable qualification (e.g., BTA, laboratory technician).
• Ideally, practical experience in instrumental analysis.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Careful, structured, and independent working style.
• Team player with a high level of reliability and sense of responsibility.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with photonics or semiconductor industries.
