About the Role

Precision for Medicine is hiring an experienced Change Orders Manager to join our global team. As a Change Orders Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading change order budget creation activities between project management, functional leads, and financial analysts. This position is essential for developing, explaining, and providing variance analysis for change orders in preparation for client presentations. You will also contribute to tracking and record-keeping of change order requests, developing departmental metrics, and participating in internal and client calls regularly. This Change Orders Manager role offers a unique opportunity to impact the clinical research and development process for new therapeutics.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with project management, financial analysts, and functional leads to produce high-quality change orders that are meaningful and accurate.
  • Review changes in assumptions to the budget and work with the extended project team to identify information gaps and discrepancies.
  • Communicate actively with the project team and stakeholders to support timely and accurate delivery of change orders.
  • Schedule and lead change order alignment calls with the extended project team.
  • Prepare, edit, and customize change order text to reflect strategic messages, budget summaries, and additional financial requirements.
  • Incorporate vendor and partner change orders into the main change order while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all information is accurate and clearly stated, including assumptions, processes, and changes from prior agreements.
  • Utilize financial formulas meticulously to ensure accurate change orders through cross-checks and formula reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, finance/accounting, or a related business field.
  • At least 3 years of experience with change orders preparation using an Excel-based costing tool.
  • Clinical CRO budgeting experience is essential.
  • Working knowledge of project budgets and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in clinical research or precision medicine.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and variance analysis.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
