About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Certified Professional Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate medical coding and billing processes. What You'll Do

• Perform accurate coding of medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure compliance with coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding queries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and guidelines.
• Provide tutoring and support for team members preparing for the CPC exam.

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is mandatory.
• 2-5 years of experience in medical coding, particularly in skilled nursing facility (SNF) coding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical coding software.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in podiatry coding.
• Knowledge of insurance terminology.
• Previous experience in medical billing.
