About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Cogir Senior Living. This Care Partner remote position offers you the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive environment. As a Care Partner, you will provide compassionate care to our residents, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while adhering to community protocols and safety guidelines.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and assist with light housekeeping duties.
- Foster open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all residents.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; caregiver training is a plus.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain it.
- At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting; experience with memory care is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and a commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
- Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
- Willingness to participate in weekend rotations.
