About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team at Bjak. This Business Development Manager remote position will allow you to leverage your expertise in the UK insurance market while working from anywhere.
What You'll Do
- Identify, prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close strategic insurer and ecosystem partnerships.
- Own the full partnership lifecycle from outreach to go-live.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of insurer and strategic partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize agreements.
- Own monthly revenue and activation targets.
- Act as a strategic advisor on market dynamics and growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Communicate effectively across all stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategy execution.
Requirements
- Permanent residency in the UK with an understanding of local insurance market dynamics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance and/or fintech.
- Proven understanding of insurer economics and partnership structures.
- Established network within the UK insurance ecosystem.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

- Familiarity with blockchain technology and data science applications in finance.
