Business Development Executive - Remote Sales Role
About the Role

What You'll Do
- Actively seek and acquire new suppliers for Viator’s product catalogue, enhancing our offerings in the travel sector.
- Engage in negotiations to finalize terms and close deals, ensuring favorable rates and margins.
- Manage your sales pipeline effectively, making outbound calls and following up on leads.
- Collaborate with destination marketing organizations and trade groups to attract new customers.
- Travel up to 30-50% of the time to meet with clients, attend trade events, and participate in regional engagements.
- Utilize your strong sales skills to consultatively position our distribution platform and value proposition.
- Overcome objections and identify solutions to roadblocks in the sales process.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to onboarding new clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in an online or travel-related company.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and contracting new business.
- Experience with territory and pipeline management using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-driven hunter mentality.
- Fluency in English and one additional language (French, Italian, German, or Spanish) is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver on initiatives without constant supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
