Automotive Service Porter - Part Time Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for an Automotive Service Porter to join our team at Dick Hannah Automotive Group. This part-time position involves ensuring customer vehicles are in pristine condition and maintaining cleanliness throughout our facility. As an Automotive Service Porter remote, you will play a vital role in supporting our service operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Wash customer vehicles and install seat covers and floor mats while the vehicle is in the service area.
• Sweep and clean floors to maintain a tidy environment.
• Ensure proper disposal of cardboard and other waste around the dealership.
• Clean the grounds surrounding the dealership.
• Prepare used containers and fluids for recycling.
• Deliver and pick up customers and dealership vehicles as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the customer lounge area.
• Assist the Service Director with various tasks as required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and be insurable with company insurance.
• Strong sense of spatial orientation.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in automotive services or similar roles.
