Onsite Event Support Coordinator - Temporary Role

About the Role

We’re hiring several Onsite Event Support Coordinators to help deliver a high-profile learning event for a key client across two locations in New Jersey and Manhattan. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in live event environments—supporting participants, assisting instructors, coordinating logistics, and ensuring every detail runs smoothly. If you’re organised, proactive, and great with people, this is a chance to play a vital role in a standout client experience. This is a temporary assignment starting on 22nd June and lasting until the end of July/early August.

What You'll Do

• Provide learner assistance by directing participants to their rooms, providing information, and responding to inquiries.
• Help manage the flow of participants, distribute materials, and handle immediate issues or concerns.
• Assist instructors and speakers by greeting them and ensuring all materials are prepared for the day.
• Make announcements as needed and ensure the room is set up as required.
• Monitor catering services and ensure appropriate groups are accessing the catering area.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the event venue, and help enforce event rules and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and handle any special requests or duties as assigned by the event manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the event manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service and event support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in live event coordination.
• Familiarity with event management software.
