About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automobile Mechanic to join our expanding team at AUTO1 Group in Hemau, Germany. What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles prior to repairs.
• Identify mechanical and bodywork faults.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle conditions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Repair, replace, and adjust any defects in engines, transmissions, or steering systems using specialized tools and equipment.
• Prepare cost estimates for repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in similar roles is preferred.
• Mandatory vocational training in automotive mechanics or a related field.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic methods and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Nice to Have

• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles.
• Knowledge of German automotive regulations.
• Ability to communicate in German is a plus.
