About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Sales Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Samsara. In this role, you will become an expert on Samsara products and help drive the success of our sales initiatives. As an Associate Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical knowledge and customer service skills to provide actionable insights and operational improvements to our clients. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK.

What You'll Do

  • Become an expert on Samsara products and services.
  • Demonstrate quick and efficient discovery to understand customer needs.
  • Be highly available for demo/account coverage across the Sales Team.
  • Understand device installation and explain to prospects.
  • Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts as needed.
  • Advocate for Account Executives and customers in technical conversations.
  • Act as a liaison between product and sales teams.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s values as the company scales.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Preferred 1+ years experience in a pre-sales or support capacity.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Well-versed in cloud software, networking, or automation.
  • Experience with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the IoT industry.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and customer relationship management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
