Associate Director, AI Transformation - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Director, AI Transformation to join our team at IDinsight. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead our AI Transformation Advisory practice, helping organizations navigate their AI journeys while building custom AI products that enhance our core services.

What You'll Do

• Grow and deliver external AI consulting services, establishing a sustainable practice that serves nonprofits, governments, and foundations.
• Lead external advisory engagements, managing client relationships, strategic direction, and team allocation.
• Identify and scope new AI advisory engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Design and deliver training programs and workshops that enhance client capabilities in AI.
• Represent IDinsight through thought leadership activities, including blog posts and conference presentations.
• Own the product roadmap for IDinsight’s internal AI Lab, prioritizing custom AI solutions.
• Drive user-centered discovery to identify opportunities for AI improvements across business units.
• Ensure timely delivery of products, applying agile principles to scale successful initiatives.

Requirements

• 8–15 years of professional experience in consulting, digital transformation, or product management, preferably in the social sector.
• Proven track record in managing high-performing teams and leading complex advisory engagements.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including LLM capabilities and AI agent architectures.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts for diverse audiences.
• Self-directed and able to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
