Assistant Manager, Software Development Engineer (.NET) - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Software Development Engineer (.NET) to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead a talented group of developers and contribute to the innovative Altium 365 cloud platform. As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of electronics design and collaborate with international teams.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, fostering a culture of ownership and knowledge-sharing.
• Collaborate with Product teams to define and build technical requirements for new features.
• Ensure technical feasibility and supervise the design of developed features.
• Write and review code, providing constructive feedback to team members to enhance code quality.
• Identify technical and organizational obstacles, advocating for effective solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in .NET and C# to build cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructure.
• Engage in large-scale data processing and API design, leveraging AI and ML for advanced functionalities.
• Resolve production issues and maintain high-quality standards in software delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of team and project leadership experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, particularly with the .NET platform and C#.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive 'Getting Things Done' attitude.
• Experience in building and maintaining cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and multi-tenant architecture is beneficial.
• Knowledge of microelectronics is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multithreading and asynchronous operations.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and ORM frameworks.
