Assistant General Manager - CheBA Hut (Remote Opportunity)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team at CheBA Hut. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while overseeing operational excellence in our locations. As an AGM, you will play a crucial role in managing the people side for six months before transitioning to the product side for the next six months. This position is designed to prepare you for future growth into a General Manager role as we expand our presence across the country.
What You'll Do
- Assist the General Manager in managing four key operational areas: People, Product, Bar, and Marketing.
- Supervise shift leads, trainers, bar staff, and crew members to ensure a positive work environment.
- Uphold food safety and product quality standards while meeting product metrics.
- Oversee bar management and ensure compliance with local and national alcohol laws.
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance shop culture and market awareness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members.
- Food and Alcohol Service Safety certifications (ServeSafe, T.I.P.S).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple projects.
Nice to Have
- Experience with bar management and event planning.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and community engagement.
- Analytical skills to identify solutions and improve operational efficiency.
