About the Role

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at DO & CO Hotel in Munich. This is a unique opportunity to work in a prestigious environment while enjoying the flexibility of a remote position. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating our kitchen team, ensuring that our Bistro operates smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in managing and coordinating the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Organize, lead, and oversee the daily à la carte operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Implement and maintain hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP regulations.
  • Continuously improve quality standards and workflow processes within the kitchen.
  • Develop and mentor kitchen staff and the stewarding team to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a chef and previous experience as a cook, Chef de Partie, or Sous Chef.
  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to high-quality standards in gastronomy.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, quality management, and occupational safety.
  • A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to advance your career in a secure company.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in an international kitchen environment.
  • Creativity in menu planning and execution.
  • Fluency in German and English.
