About the Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Program Manager to join JD.com in a remote capacity. As an Apprentice Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our apprenticeship program within the UK logistics division. What You'll Do

  • Design and implement the UK degree apprenticeship recruitment and development strategy for JD Logistics.
  • Define program goals, success metrics, and annual recruitment targets in collaboration with logistics leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with UK apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute targeted recruitment campaigns to attract diverse, high-caliber candidates for logistics-related degree apprenticeships.
  • Manage the entire selection process: screening, assessment, interviews, and offer management.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new apprentices, ensuring a smooth transition into JD Logistics.
  • Monitor apprentice progress, provide career guidance, and facilitate mentorship within JD Logistics teams.
  • Track apprentice performance, retention, and completion rates against KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in apprenticeship program management, talent acquisition, or graduate recruitment within the UK.
  • Strong understanding of the UK apprenticeship framework, including standards, funding, and assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with academic institutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles within a large organization.
  • Familiarity with JD’s business model and values.
  • Professional certification in HR or apprenticeship management (e.g., CIPD, AAT).
