About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Appian Architect to join our team in a remote capacity. As an Appian Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and governance of process automation solutions on the Appian platform, ensuring alignment with strategic banking objectives and efficient integration with existing systems.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance architectures on the Appian platform.
  • Utilize Appian SAIL for advanced development, interface design, and process modeling.
  • Integrate external systems using REST/SOAP services and manage SQL database connections.
  • Implement CI/CD strategies using DevOps tools to ensure continuous deployment.
  • Incorporate AI capabilities within Appian applications to enhance functionality.
  • Drive agile methodologies, ensuring iterative delivery of value through active participation in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear proposals for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with UX, QA, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive delivery of solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Appian Architect with a strong understanding of Appian Data Fabric.
  • Advanced skills in Appian SAIL, process modeling, and data management.
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA) and microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of security configurations and monitoring within Appian.
  • Ability to present architectural solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Deep understanding of financial processes, including credit, payments, and compliance.
  • Excellent soft skills, including communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and data analytics.
  • Certifications in Appian or related technologies.
