Analytics Engineer - Remote Position at Prime Therapeutics

About the Role

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Prime Therapeutics. In this role, you will be a vital part of our data analytics organization, responsible for optimizing and monitoring the retrieval, storage, and distribution of large data sets. Your work will enable data-driven business processes and deliver actionable business insights through dashboards, reports, and other self-service visualization tools.

What You'll Do

• Optimize data retrieval and develop data set processes, algorithms to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Construct, test, and maintain data architecture, extract, load, transform (ELT) processes, logical and physical data models, data marts, and data warehouse designs in alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for improved delivery, business processes, and automation tasks.
• Understand and work with team members to ensure seamless transitions between databases and user-facing applications.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the analytics team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, or another IT-related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data warehousing.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and ELT implementations with experience in RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of relational and dimensional modeling to facilitate data wrangling and code operationalization.
• Ability to review and translate data models effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management or the healthcare ecosystem.
• Programming experience with Python and R.
• Familiarity with UNIX systems.
• Experience building and maintaining data and analytics systems using common BI tools and cloud products.
