About the Role

We are seeking a talented Algorithm Engineer (Radar and Electronic Warfare) remote to join our team at Thales. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that supports defense and armed forces customers. As an Algorithm Engineer, you will design, implement, and enhance algorithms used in critical systems such as Radars and Digital Radar Electronic Support Measures (RESM).

What You'll Do

  • Perform algorithm engineering for Sensor and Waveform signal processing.
  • Select and adapt algorithmic solutions based on project requirements.
  • Develop models of performance and physical phenomena to support project goals.
  • Collaborate with software and firmware implementation teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct mathematical analysis of sensor data to derive actionable insights.
  • Generate requirements and acceptance criteria for algorithm performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in algorithm design and development.
  • Proficiency in high-level mathematical languages such as Matlab, Python, or Simulink.
  • Strong competency in mathematics, including digital signal processing and linear algebra.
  • Able to critically analyze systems and write detailed specification documents.
  • Experience in Electronic Warfare or Radar domains is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with military or defense-related projects.
  • Current Security Clearance (SC) is advantageous but not mandatory.
