AI Development Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Development Engineer to join our innovative team at Gerresheimer. This remote position allows you to contribute to the development and enhancement of our software products, particularly focusing on AI platforms. As an AI Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing new features and optimizing software components.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop new features for our G3 and AI platforms.
• Develop software environments for AI algorithms in embedded systems and cloud environments.
• Evaluate usability and quality while integrating AI algorithms into software solutions.
• Conduct independent diagnostics of software errors.
• Create test strategies for our software products.
• Maintain and manage software distribution platforms.
• Oversee software version releases, including change management.
• Prepare relevant documentation and facilitate internal and external communication regarding developments and acceptance tests.

Requirements

• A completed technical degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Solid knowledge and several years of professional experience in software development or a comparable field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, along with advanced knowledge in C# and version control (Git/GitLab/CI-CD pipelines).
• Excellent understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure/Kubernetes/Docker) and UML notation.
• Strong English language skills.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills, high commitment, and resilience.
