About the Role
Hey, Dingus! Yep, you read that right. Dingus & Zazzy is expanding, and we’re on the hunt for a sharp, systems-minded AI Automation Specialist remote who can build, connect, and scale intelligent workflows that actually work in production. As an AI Automation Specialist remote, you will play a crucial role in our global digital marketing agency, helping brands grow across every corner of the digital landscape.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain automated workflows using N8N, connecting APIs, webhooks, and data sources into seamless pipelines.
- Integrate and prompt Claude (Anthropic) and other LLMs into production systems, not just experiments.
- Manage and automate data operations in Airtable, including scripted fields, automations, and structured data pipelines.
- Design AI-assisted workflows that reduce manual effort across client delivery, internal ops, and content production.
- Troubleshoot broken pipelines, handle edge cases, and document systems so they don’t live only in your head.
- Collaborate with strategy and delivery teams to identify automation opportunities and scope builds accurately.
- Stay current on the AI tooling landscape; you should know what’s worth using before we ask.
- Own and iterate on AI agent logic and system prompts, understanding why a workflow behaves the way it does and improving it over time.
- Build net-new internal AI tools as the business identifies opportunities, not just maintain what exists.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building automated workflows (N8N, Make.com, or Zapier; N8N strongly preferred).
- Real experience integrating LLMs via API (Claude, GPT, or equivalent) into production pipelines with structured outputs.
- Proficiency in Airtable as a data layer, scripting, automations, relational structures.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and webhook-based integrations.
- Basic scripting ability in Python or JavaScript, enough to write and debug function nodes without hand-holding.
- A working understanding of HTML and CSS is imperative; you need to be able to read, interpret, and make sense of front-end structure when workflows touch web-based outputs.
- A systems thinker mindset: you design the whole loop, not just the happy path.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with vector databases or basic RAG pipelines (Pinecone, Supabase, etc.).
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, or equivalent concepts).
- Experience in a digital agency or client-services environment.
- Exposure to prompt engineering best practices, like system prompts, chaining, few-shot design.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually.
- Fully remote work environment, allowing you to work from anywhere in Brazil.
- Flexible working hours from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. MST, Monday to Friday.
- Opportunity to work with a diverse team of creatives, strategists, tech geeks, and builders.
- Access to the latest AI tools and technologies to enhance your skills.
- Professional development opportunities to grow your career.
- A supportive and collaborative work culture.
If you’re someone who can look at a messy manual process, see the system hiding inside it, and build something that runs without you, we want to hear from you. Ready for the ride of your life? Apply now!
