About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (Clinical Oncology) to join our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while leading a nursing team in a clinical oncology setting. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized patient care and developing nursing standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise a nursing team within a clinical unit, ensuring high standards of care.
- Develop professional nursing standards, care protocols, and clinical pathways to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide complex patient care in the specialty of oncology, acting as a resource and referral agent on clinical expertise.
- Manage nurse-led services to deliver specialized patient care effectively.
- Train and supervise nurse learners in advanced nursing specialty training, fostering their professional growth.
- Initiate and participate in evidence-based practice and nursing research to improve clinical practices.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services within the oncology department.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
- Qualification in advanced nursing specialty (recognized post-registration certificate or postgraduate diploma).
- A degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in healthcare, with at least 3 years in oncology or related specialty.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in nursing or related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and competency as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Contributions to professional development, including research and teaching.
