About the Role

We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for Undergraduate Management courses to join Purdue University Global in a remote capacity. This Adjunct Faculty position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a world-class online education experience while working flexibly from home.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality instruction in undergraduate management courses, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Teach synchronous or asynchronous seminars, maintaining school-determined virtual office hours for student engagement.
  • Manage electronic correspondence with students and ensure timely feedback on assignments and grades.
  • Lead discussions on message boards, encouraging student participation and engagement with course materials.
  • Collaborate with Academic Advisors to address student concerns and refer students needing accommodations under the ADA.
  • Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress, delivering mid-term and final grades in accordance with the academic calendar.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the School of Business.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in a business or IT-related field, or in education or psychology.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience; online teaching experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to engage professionally with students and colleagues.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in curriculum development or faculty governance.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and educational technologies.
  • Experience in adult education or non-traditional learning environments.
