HR Payroll Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Payroll Specialist to join our team at Sedus. This remote opportunity allows you to contribute to our mission of creating modern work environments where people thrive. As an HR Payroll Specialist, you will manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor laws while working alongside a dedicated team.
What You'll Do
- Independently conduct payroll processing for a defined employee group, including all related tasks.
- Maintain and manage all payroll-related data in HR systems, such as employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, management, and external institutions regarding payroll-related inquiries.
- Develop, define, and analyze HR metrics while enhancing group-wide reporting.
- Identify and implement process optimizations and contribute to the digital transformation within the HR department.
- Participate in HR projects to improve operational excellence.
Requirements
- Several years of solid experience in independent payroll processing within a complex corporate environment.
- Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax and social security law.
- Strong user knowledge of common HCM software (ideally SAP HCM) with a focus on payroll.
- Proficient in Excel, particularly in reporting and analysis.
- High affinity for numbers, absolute accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Discretion and service orientation when handling sensitive personal data.
- Structured, independent work style with an interest in process optimization and digitalization in HR.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HR analytics tools.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of additional HR functions beyond payroll.
