Accommodation Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Accommodation Assistant to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will ensure that our accommodation facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. As an Accommodation Assistant remote, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and welcoming.

What You'll Do

• Ensure assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridor areas, and public spaces are cleaned to the highest standards using approved cleaning materials.
• Change bed linen and towels according to the agreed schedule and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of accommodation trolleys, caddies, and storage areas.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to your supervisor.
• Assist in maximizing resource use to maintain low cost levels while ensuring quality.
• Participate actively in training sessions and meetings aimed at improving performance standards.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding hotel services and handle customer complaints with courtesy.
• Adhere to the hotel’s customer relation policy and maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or accommodation role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and communication.
