3D Artist - Remote Position for Project Fuzzy

About the Role

We are seeking a talented 3D Artist to join our team at Cruxep Interactive for our exciting project, Project Fuzzy. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a physics-based co-op game, where you will play a vital role in creating stylized visual elements and developing in-game assets.

What You'll Do

• Create stylized 3D assets (props and environments) for the game.
• Contribute to the production of stylized characters and creatures.
• Develop models that meet technical requirements and adhere to reference materials.
• Integrate assets and set up scenes within Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with the technical team and game design team to maintain visual integrity.
• Oversee performance optimization processes (polycount, LOD, texture).
• Work actively in the creation of a consistent and scalable art pipeline.

Requirements

• Experience with 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, or similar.
• Basic competency in stylized modeling.
• Knowledge of low/mid poly workflow.
• Experience working with game engines (preferably Unreal Engine).
• Ability to produce quickly based on references.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with texture painting and UV mapping.
• Experience in game development or a related field.
• Passion for gaming and understanding of game design principles.
