About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Remote Desktop Support specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their systems run smoothly and efficiently. As a 2nd Shift Remote Desktop Support professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective troubleshooting and problem resolution.
What You'll Do
- Provide remote desktop support to users, addressing technical issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and other software applications.
- Utilize your skills in Active Directory and RMM tools to manage user accounts and system performance.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide empathetic support during troubleshooting.
- Document all support interactions and resolutions in our ticketing system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues efficiently.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in desktop support or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with users.
- Experience with PowerShell and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during 2nd shift hours.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Linux and Ubuntu operating systems.
- Experience in HR operations or compliance training.
- Knowledge of firewall management and system performance troubleshooting.
