Works Supervisor - Remote Opportunity for Civil Construction

We are seeking a Works Supervisor - Remote to join our team at Transport for NSW. In this role, you will lead and support a team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance work. What You'll Do
- Lead a team in the Road Maintenance and Resilience Division, coordinating resources and managing day-to-day activities.
- Ensure accurate reporting across safety, environmental, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in an on-call roster, responding to incidents and operational needs as required.
- Monitor performance and safety data to manage risks effectively.
- Support managers and engineers with minor projects, assisting with estimating and contract management.
Requirements
- Solid experience in civil construction, road maintenance, or traffic control.
- Ability to interpret project, construction, and contract documentation.
- Proven leadership skills in supervising both direct-control and contractor teams.
- Strong communication skills and conflict management abilities.
- Relevant trade qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with WHS and environmental obligations.
- Certifications for agency works.
- Knowledge of project management principles.

Who Will Succeed Here
