WFS Integration Developer - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are seeking a talented WFS Integration Developer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between WorkForce Software (WFS) and external payroll, finance, and identity systems using APIs and middleware platforms. What You'll Do

• Design and maintain WFS integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and file-based interfaces (CSV/XML).
• Develop and manage middleware orchestration using MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or Dell Boomi.
• Configure real-time data synchronization using webhooks and event-based triggers.
• Build and troubleshoot complex pay rules and policies using the WFS Policy Editor.
• Develop advanced formulas using JavaScript and SQL for overtime, premiums, and labor compliance.
• Act as Tier-3 support for integration failures, payroll export errors, and data mismatches.
• Map and validate data flows between WFS and payroll/ERP systems.
• Create audit and monitoring reports using SQL or Cognos.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on WorkForce Software (WFS) experience (EmpCenter or Workforce Suite).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and SQL / PL-SQL.
• Solid experience with REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and SFTP.
• Experience with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, OIC, Boomi, or similar).
• Strong understanding of workforce management concepts (accruals, shifts, labor rules).
• Experience supporting union/CBA-driven pay and labor configurations.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for UI-level WFS adjustments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based integration solutions.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
