VP of Finance - Life Sciences (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced VP of Finance - Life Sciences (Remote) to lead our financial operations in the health technology sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape financial strategies and drive growth in a dynamic industry. As the VP of Finance, you will oversee all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations while managing a talented finance team.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle accounting processes, including financial reporting and budgeting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our business goals.
• Manage financial modeling and forecasting to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with SEC filings and ASC 606 standards.
• Oversee accounts receivable, credit and collections, and cash flow management.
• Collaborate with HR operations to enhance employee relations and talent management.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics for financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on life sciences or health tech.
• Proven track record in financial leadership roles, preferably as a VP or similar.
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, and SOX compliance.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
