About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Compensation and Benefits to join our team at IDEA Public Schools. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead the strategic vision and implementation of compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent across our organization. As the Vice President of Compensation and Benefits, you will play a crucial role in positioning IDEA Public Schools as the employer of choice for educators.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership for a cohesive, competitive, and compelling compensation and benefits program tied to performance.
  • Advise senior leaders and the IDEA Public Schools Board of Directors on compensation and benefits strategy.
  • Design and implement enterprise and talent systems to enhance performance management and long-term talent sustainability.
  • Oversee all compensation, performance management, and benefits operations and systems to ensure consistent implementation of policies.
  • Lead policy design, evaluation, and compliance across multiple regions.
  • Develop and execute communication and change strategies related to compensation systems and annual pay practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive experience in administrative management and innovative practices in compensation, benefits, and/or performance management.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage work and teams effectively, fostering a culture of trust and continuous learning.

Nice to Have

  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
  • Related graduate degree.
