About the Role

We are looking for a skilled VBA Developer to join our team at Natixis in Portugal. This VBA Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with business units to create lightweight solutions integrated into their daily tools, such as Macros, Excel or Outlook plugins, and Access applications. You will play a crucial role in maintaining local applications in VBA and developing new opportunities directly with the business units, which may be located in Paris or Porto.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and enhance local applications using VBA, Excel, and Access.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and develop new solutions that meet their needs.
  • Monitor daily production and troubleshoot issues alongside team members.
  • Participate in interviews and live coding tests to validate your skills with the Paris Expert Team.
  • Utilize SQL for database management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a VBA Developer with a focus on Excel and Access (3-5 years).
  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Ability to work autonomously and directly with business units.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python is a nice-to-have.
