Project Leader - Training Simulation (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Leader for Training Simulation to join our dynamic team at KNDS. This remote Project Leader position offers an exciting opportunity to manage national and international projects in the field of simulation and training. You will play a crucial role in defining, controlling, and coordinating activities among all stakeholders to successfully achieve project goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead project and sub-project management for simulation and training initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and contractors, particularly in key account management.
  • Participate actively in contract negotiations, representing the company's interests internally and externally.
  • Ensure transparency and smooth project management through internal and external reporting.
  • Manage project teams to ensure efficient collaboration and successful project execution.
  • Define, plan, and monitor project activities to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Oversee communication management within the team and with clients/partners to maintain a seamless flow of information.
  • Ensure adherence to established schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements.
  • Maintain stakeholder management to secure support and acceptance from all parties involved.
  • Drive change management processes within projects to ensure smooth implementation of new processes or technologies.
  • Manage risks by identifying potential issues early and taking appropriate measures to mitigate them.
  • Facilitate conflict management to resolve tensions and promote positive collaboration within the project environment.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Proven professional experience of at least 5 years in project management with a strong understanding of processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with development processes according to the V-Model.
  • Experience in agile development and a solid understanding of relevant methods.
  • Proficient in using SAP and MS Office as part of your daily routine.
  • Strong teamwork, independence, and communication skills.
  • Ideally, prior knowledge of KNDS products.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
