UX Design Internship - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join Lucid Software as a UX Design Intern and immerse yourself in the world of visual collaboration and design. As a UX Design Intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects that enhance user experiences and support our customers in achieving their goals.

What You'll Do

• Drive a user-centered design approach to accomplish the goals of real projects on our roadmap.
• Deeply understand the problems we’re solving and how they affect our customers.
• Brainstorm and ideate multiple ways to solve design challenges.
• Produce interaction flows and mocks that reflect our design system.
• Conduct regular user research to advocate for the user.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to incorporate feedback into designs.
• Support engineers and QA specialists during implementation.
• Contribute positively to the design team culture and help evangelize design across the company.

Requirements

• Knowledge of design methods and principles.
• Experience with research methods and a passion for visual collaboration.
• Fundamental principles of graphic design (hierarchy, alignment, contrast, repetition, etc.).
• Experience using design and prototyping tools like Figma.
• Clear communication skills to keep teams informed on progress.
• Availability starting May 2026.

Nice to Have

• Working towards a degree in graphic design, industrial design, human-computer interaction, or related fields.
• Recent graduates with demonstrated competence in user experience design are encouraged to apply.
