About the Role

We are excited to offer a Remote Underwriting Internship for Summer 2026 at Travelers Indemnity Co. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain exposure to the critical function of underwriting in the insurance industry, with hands-on experience and training. Throughout this 10-week internship program in Business Insurance Underwriting, you will gain first-hand commercial insurance underwriting experience while working remotely.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this remote underwriting internship.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret data effectively.
  • Preferred majors include Business Administration, Economics, and Finance.
  • Completion of sophomore or junior year preferred.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in underwriting is a must.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
