Trainee Smart Meter Engineer - Dual Fuel Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Smart Meter Engineer to join the Luxion Group, working remotely as part of Utilita’s award-winning Field Services team. This position is ideal for a Qualified Gas Engineer looking to upskill into Electric and become a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer. You will benefit from our fully funded 8-week training program, where you will obtain your Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering - Power, along with EUSR accreditation. As a Trainee Smart Meter Engineer, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary starting at £35,094, which increases to £38,993 upon completion of your training and assessments. This role offers a potential OTE of £42,293 per annum, making it an exciting opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in the energy sector.

What You'll Do

• Install domestic gas and electric meters in compliance with industry regulations.
• Test meters and equipment post-installation to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Transport used and new meters to designated warehouses.
• Participate in an 8-week training program to become a qualified Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer.
• Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience during installations.

Requirements

• Must hold an in-date CCN1 and/or CMA1 or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 6 months of experience working as a gas engineer.
• Full UK driving license required for company vehicle use.
• Strong commitment to customer service and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
