About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team. This Test Engineer remote position offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career while providing relocation support for those looking to move. As a Test Engineer, you will be integral in ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct subsystem and system of systems testing at various locations.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with engineers to verify software deliveries to the Navy.
  • Analyze software to ensure it meets system, functional, and performance requirements.
  • Install test bays and troubleshoot any anomalies that arise.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers from other subsystems to resolve issues proactively.

Requirements

  • Former US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician or Sonar Technician experience is required.
  • Experience with the AN/BYG-1 combat control system or Contact Management Fire Control Display.
  • Formal testing experience in a DoD production delivery environment.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills using Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in Agile development environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the SWFTS submarine community.
  • Strong communication skills among peers and up the chain.
  • Ability to recognize relevant information and communicate issues clearly.
