Senior Product Engineer - TypeScript/​Node.js/​Vue Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js/Vue) to join our innovative team at n8n. As a Senior Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and shipping end-to-end product features that enhance our workflow orchestration platform. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Europe while contributing to a product that empowers users to automate their workflows efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Own the product area from discovery to delivery, ensuring high-quality features are shipped quickly across the TypeScript stack.
• Develop customer-facing experiences in Vue or React, focusing on usability and performance.
• Create scalable Node.js services and APIs that support critical workflows under high traffic.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and improve user engagement metrics.
• Instrument features end-to-end to measure impact and debug real-world behavior effectively.
• Build and maintain integrations and APIs that enable extensible workflows and automation use cases.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to translate customer needs into actionable development tasks.
• Contribute to system scalability and reliability, ensuring that n8n can handle business-critical processes.

Requirements

• Fullstack JavaScript/TypeScript experience with a proven track record of shipping customer-facing features.
• Strong understanding of product development, focusing on user outcomes and metrics.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and either Vue or React.
• Experience with A/B testing and metrics ownership.
• Background in building scalable SaaS systems with an understanding of performance and reliability trade-offs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in small-to-mid teams and navigate ambiguity.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring others in a collaborative environment.
