Telecommunications Drafter - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Drafter - Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics for telecommunications projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. As a remote Telecommunications Drafter, you will collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that meet client specifications.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain telecommunications schematics using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and ensure designs align with project goals.
• Prepare make-ready designs for overhead utility pole installations and fiber optic networks.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel, for documentation and reporting.
• Assist in project coordination and technical project administration to ensure timely delivery of drafts.

Requirements

• Experience with drafting software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications systems, including fiber optics and copper cabling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• 1-2 years of experience in drafting or a related field.
