Technical Manager - Road and Bridge Construction Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Manager to lead road and bridge construction projects, with relocation to Libya from Pakistan. This Technical Manager remote role offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with project management skills, ensuring quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and manage a team of engineers and design specialists in the successful delivery of road and bridge projects.
• Lead design development, including functional studies and detailed design, while ensuring compliance with regional standards.
• Engage with clients as a project manager, building strong relationships and ensuring project objectives are met.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation, maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
• Assist in business development activities, including proposal preparation and risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience managing large-scale road and bridge construction projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Open Roads Designer, and Primavera.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams.
