Team Leader - Logistics Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader for Logistics Operations to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Team Leader, you will guide a team of approximately 15 employees, fostering their professional growth and supporting their personal development. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient processes and a positive work environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, promoting individual strengths and team cohesion.
• Oversee communication within the team, ensuring clarity and efficiency in all processes.
• Facilitate team meetings and actively contribute to team development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Manage vehicle logistics for the distribution area of Baar, optimizing operations for efficiency.
• Work flexible hours, including occasional night shifts and Saturdays, while maintaining a five-day work week.

Requirements

• Logistics education with several years of experience in logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of postal operations and delivery processes.
• Previous leadership experience with a commitment to furthering your leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective communication abilities in German.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and demonstrate efficient work practices.
• Possession of a Category B driver's license, preferably with a BE category, and a forklift license.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
