Team Lead Business & Competitor Analysis - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Team Lead Business & Competitor Analysis to join our dynamic team at E.ON. What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance systematic market and competitor observation processes with clear decision-making relevance for E.ON.
- Lead and manage the Business & Competitor Analytics team, reporting directly to the VP of Group Strategy.
- Conduct strategic market and competitor analyses, focusing on segments, business models, and competitive strategies.
- Analyze market structures, value chains, and customer needs to derive strategic options.
- Establish a company-wide early warning system for opportunities and risks, including proactive stakeholder communication.
- Translate market and competitive information into actionable recommendations for executive decision-making.
- Ensure alignment of monitoring and analysis with strategic and portfolio decision processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in strategy, market analysis, consulting, or business development, preferably in the energy sector.
- Deep understanding of energy markets, market mechanisms, and competitive dynamics.
- Proven experience in team leadership and managing complex analytical projects.
- Strong analytical decision-making skills with the ability to translate complexity into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.

- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly German and English.
