About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Remote to join our Migration Tools team. This role will allow you to make significant contributions to enhancing customer experiences by improving the scalability and performance of our migration tools. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a globally distributed team, playing a vital role in refining our product offerings to meet diverse customer needs.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor team members to produce high-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements and technical solutions.
- Develop and guide testing plans to assure solution quality and define success metrics.
- Drive project plans and release schedules ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Apply debugging tools to verify assumptions and optimize code performance.
- Analyze complex data to enhance products and support engineering decisions.
- Maintain live service operations and develop incident resolution playbooks.
- Enhance internal tools and processes while promoting the use of AI technologies.
- Develop and maintain a technical roadmap aligned with product goals.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proficient in multiple programming languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale system architecture, particularly in cloud environments.
- Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and balancing priorities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging AI tools.

- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
