Staff or Senior Accountant - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Staff or Senior Accountant - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial statements, billing, and reconciliation processes. As a remote accountant, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to our company's financial health.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage monthly close processes and ensure timely reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Conduct audits and implement process improvements.
• Utilize QuickBooks and other financial software for accurate bookkeeping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and budgeting.
• Assist in cash management and financial forecasting.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with process improvement and audit practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• CPA certification or equivalent.
• Experience with SaaS accounting practices.
• Familiarity with Elixir, Liveview, and Postgres.
