Staff AI/​ML Project Manager - B2B Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Staff AI/ML Project Manager to join our team at Merantix Momentum. This role is pivotal as it serves as the direct link between our engineering team and our clients, ensuring the successful execution of complex AI/ML projects. As a Staff AI/ML Project Manager remote, you will engage with developers, customers, business teams, and other stakeholders daily, making it essential to possess a well-rounded business acumen alongside a solid understanding of AI and machine learning.

What You'll Do

• Manage and oversee the execution of AI/ML projects, ensuring maximum value delivery while considering technical and organizational constraints.
• Act as a product owner by understanding client processes and pain points, translating them into ML problems, and conceptualizing user-centric solutions.
• Identify, document, and manage project requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables through rigorous acceptance criteria.
• Support clients with AI adoption at every stage, from ideation to production roll-out and lifecycle management.
• Create wireframes and prototypes using state-of-the-art tooling, focusing on value creation for clients.
• Shape internal processes and offerings, contributing to delivery excellence and representing the Merantix brand externally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in technical product or project management roles.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML applications and relevant industry experience in sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, or public sector.
• Proven track record of working with engineering teams to conceptualize and deliver products.
• Excellent client engagement skills, with experience in managing stakeholder expectations and project steering.
• Fluency in both English and German is required, given our operations in the DACH region.
