Specialist, CRC - Remote Position at Standard Chartered

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Specialist, CRC to join our team at Standard Chartered. This remote position involves performing all maker activities for Documentation teams and the HK CRC team, including cross-border document checking and daily activity tracking for BCA renewal. As a Specialist, CRC, you will provide high-quality governance and monitoring support, ensuring error-free work with no operating losses.

What You'll Do

• Act as a service partner, collaborating with Relationship Managers (RMs), in-country Client Management (CM), and Operations to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Deliver excellent service against agreed service standards and minimal error rates.
• Provide credit documentation support for Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) and Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) clients.
• Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters.
• Prepare BFL and collateral documents accurately, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Monitor and generate reports as per agreed terms with in-country stakeholders.
• Participate in automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide effective orientation and guidance to new joiners on bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience for Grade 8B; 5 years for Grade 8A.
• Basic product and process knowledge, particularly in banking operations.
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented attitude.
• Experience in operational risk management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various business units.

Nice to Have

• Experience in credit risk, documentation, and client service.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with automation tools and processes.
